Bringing
Hope to a Lost Generation: Reconnecting Parents and
Teens
Many youth who feel confused, alone, and hopeless don’t
know how to make
sense of the crazy mixed-up world they live in. At a
deep level, they long for parents to come alongside
them but many are living in disconnected
relationships with their parents. Designed for youth
leaders, parents, and other caring adults, the goal
of this talk is to raise awareness of issues teens face
and explore the disconnection between parents and teens
and how we can facilitate reconnection in the crucial
God ordained relationship between them.

Bringing Hope to a Lost Generation: Reconnecting
Parents and Teens
“My parents don’t care about me. I am totally
alone. Life is just too hard. I don’t want to
live.” This is a message we hear repeatedly from
youth who feel confused, alone, and hopeless. They don’t
know how to make sense of the crazy mixed-up world they
live in. They need parents and other caring adults to
come alongside them to help them find their way in a
dark and scary world. Designed for parents of teenagers,
the goal of this talk is to raise awareness of the issues
teens face and raise questions to help parents better
equip teens to face very real issues in their every
day lives.

This camp is designed for teen girls who want to go

spiritual maturity and Godly integrity through Biblical
teaching. An emphasis on Biblical truth from the book
of James will help girls with practical, hands-on application
to bring J.O.Y. to the situations they face everyday.
“Consider it
pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials
of many kinds, because you know that the testing
of your faith develops perseverance.” James

in Christ, this camp includes powerful interactive elements
such as drama workshops, art discovery programs,
and a journey to the cross.
Two special parent sessions at the beginning and end
of camp will bring awareness of the issues teens face
and provide parents the opportunity to reconnect with
their teens in practical, life-changing ways.

Friends Forever: What does it mean to be a friend
of God and One another?
Have you felt jealous of someone surrounded with friends
or wished that you were part of the ‘popular’
group? Have you ever made a list of your friends and
added a few extra to make it longer? When we feel lonely,
we long deeply for true friendship. God designed us
for relationships and understands our deepest longings.
He has a perfect plan for perfect friendship.
Designed for women who long for deeper friendships,
and want to heal the friendships they have, this talk
explores the foundational truth of what it means to
be a Friend of God and Friend to One Another.

Bringing Hope to a Lost Generation: Reconnecting
Parents and Teens
My parents don’t care about me. I am totally alone.
Life is just too hard. I don’t want to live.”
This is a message we hear repeatedly from youth in our
area. They are confused; they feel alone; they feel
hopeless. They need parents and other caring adults
to come alongside them to help them find their way in
a dark and scary world. Even those teens that have stable
home lives, often misunderstand their parents and feel
left to handle the issues they face on their own.
Designed for parents of teenagers, the goal of this
talk is to raise awareness of the issues teens face
and raise questions within ourselves about how we can
better equip our own teens to face these issues in their
every day lives.
“Our kids need us to be reminded of
this truth. We can’t help them until we are willing
to look at their situation regardless of our own agenda.”

RECONNECTING: GOD’S DESIGN FOR MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS
“Help me. I am desperate. I am losing my daughter
to the world and I don’t know what to do.”
I hear this cry from mothers who are watching as the
world erodes their families and destroys the faith that
they have sown in their daughters.
Young girls who are desperate for love are falling prey
to the lies of the world and believe in the depth of
their hearts that they have no allies. They cry out
for someone to protect them and give them a safe path
to follow.
Geared for girls ages 9-21 and mothers of any age, this
purposeful talk focuses on the roles of mothers in our
current society and how we have lost the power, purpose,
and privilege to perform the most important job on earth.
Girls will learn who their mother is designed to be
and who she is not.
"Your talk really gave me
a lot to think about. Sometimes I forget how much my
kids need me. Thank you for the reminder.”
